Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
Lamppost Web is a one-person business run by Chris Simone in Zionsville, Indiana, operating under Simone Labs LLC. This policy explains what information I collect, why, and what I do with it. It's written plainly on purpose.
What I collect
- What you send me. If you fill out the form on this site or email me, I receive your name, business name, town, email address, phone number if you provide it, and whatever you write in the notes.
- Basic site analytics. My host (Netlify) records standard server logs — pages requested, approximate location, browser type. I don't run advertising trackers, Facebook pixels, or third-party marketing cookies on this site.
Why I collect it
To answer you, to build the website you asked about, and to keep in touch about that work. That's it. I don't use your information for anything else.
What I never do
- I do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, for any reason.
- I do not add you to a marketing list or newsletter without you asking.
- I do not share your contact details with other businesses.
Who else touches it
Form submissions pass through Netlify (my web host) and email travels through Google Workspace. Both are standard service providers with their own security practices. Nobody else has access.
How long I keep it
Inquiries stay in my email and Netlify's form records. If you'd like me to delete your information, email me and I'll remove it — no explanation needed.
Client websites
If I build and host a website for your business, that site may collect information from your customers (through a contact form, for example). That information belongs to you, not to me. I don't use it, mine it, or share it. Your business is responsible for its own customer privacy practices, and I'm happy to help you set up a privacy page for your site.
Children
This is a business-to-business service and isn't directed at children under 13.
